This pencil serves as a literal metaphor, describing both itself as well as presenting a simultaneously empowering & horrifying universal truth about ourselves as creators and human beings. “I AM A TOOL OR A WEAPON AND COMPLETELY FREE AND THAT IS LITERALLY TERRIFYING.” Created after a period of intense reflection as an artist and designer, which I think I have moved on from but might still be haunted by.
