A simple message in an unusual medium has become one of my most popular personal projects, reproduced in an unlimited edition. Bold typography in this “reappropriated” space takes the edge of an otherwise blunt, heartfelt apology. This object set much of the tone for continued personal projects under my “Gift Shop” umbrella, allowing me to explore other combinations of straightforward, honest messages communicated in surprising and even delightful ways. Also, it’s a balloon and people like those.
